David became certified as a personal trainer (NASM) after completing his master’s degree in social work and non-profit management from the University of Michigan. Working in the mental health field he quickly understood just how intricately tied together our mental and physical health are. He looked to further his understanding of the body by becoming a personal trainer realizing just how influential exercise had been in his own life as a competitive runner and athlete. David also obtained a master’s degree in Oriental Medicine to develop his abilities in treating injuries and imbalances in the body with acupuncture.
